"Live with no regrets, no last wishes, for I want everyday to be the one I remember. Life does not have to be constantly excitement, riches, and fame. And there is always a silver lining to a cloud if you look close enough." What a fun and perfect day this was. Started out early at a thrift store that is so dark and grimy but oh so wonderful for poking around! My daughter, Jackie and I were on the "hunt" for CHEAP wooden tables and chairs to paint for her classroom. Bingo!! We found just what we were looking for within minutes!! Brushed off the cobwebs, chatted about how wonderful they would look finished. Along the way we picked through old wooden frames and gathered up about 7 of them! Oh yes, we paid all of $8 for both pieces!! A square table and a high back wooden chair. And all of $5 for the frames. Once home, we got Megan(other daughter) out of bed and we all started sanding and painting. The final coat goes on tomorrow and I will share the finished result pho

I looked outside the other evening and this is what greeted me. Appreciating the simple wonders of light in nature is a good thing!
